Potty Update

Ok, today was day 3 of no diapers. We are having about 1-2 accidents a day, not bad. It seems to happen in the evening or in the car. However, we seem to be having a bit of a poopoo problem. It seems that Maddy is clenching up the poopoo and keeping it in. She doesn't want to go poopoo without a diaper. She had a minor poopoo mishap at school a few days after the poopoo extravaganza (see below). She tries to dispose of the poopoo in the toilet and clean it all up. Maddy has school tomorrow, she hasn't had a decent poopoo in 3 days and I'm getting a little worried. Any advice? I give her mineral oil in her milk cup to keep things moving, but I don't want an extreme poopoo, that might totally freak her out. I offered her a chocolate doughnut with sprinkles from Dunkin Doughnuts (her favorite), but she wouldn't cave and spent an hour crying over the doughnut she wants but can't have. Help! I need poopoo magic.

I think Maddy needs to wear her "just-in-case" pull ups when she goes to school. Mrs. Phillips isn't going to be asking Maddy if she needs to make pee pee, and Maddy has a history of pooping at school... That's why I think she should have a pull up. As for the rest of it, I have NO idea what to do.

Now can I have my doughnut?

I got nothing for you. However my sister Amanda might have some advice. You can leave a comment on her blog if you would like. Her oldest daughter still has a difficult time going poop and she is 8 years old!!!!

Oh man! I have no idea...and now I'm starting to get freaked out about having to deal with that in the future. These are the kinds of things I totally did not take into consideration when I signed up for a baby.

Chad's parents never potty-trained him...they just waited until he went to preschool and realized it wasn't the cool thing to be wearing diapers and basically gave up diapers himself...I wonder if I can get away with that?
