We made our visit to Santa. Maddy made a practice visit last week and was able to spend some quality time visiting with Santa. He is such a good Santa, he spoke very softly and talked to her for a long time. On this visit there was a line and she didn't have as much time to get comfortable, plus she kept seeing/hearing crying kids in front of her. We didn't get the happy picture we were hoping for, but it's better than the crying picture we had two years ago.
This picture makes me giggle every time I see it. She wasn't too happy about being left there on Santa's lap.
Now I know why Santa wears gloves. Imagine all the crying, sniffling, sneezing, coughing babies and kids he touches all day!

I love Maddy's expression. It's like she's thinking if she sits perfectly still Santa won't know which list she is supposed to be on.
Love it! We are excited to go to Santa's cottage here in Mundelein to take our picture with Santa. I'll have to see if I can find Jordan's picture from last year amidst all the files we have...I know it's there...I'll find it. How fun to look back! I saw on Oprah last week an idea of saving pictures and artwork in a box with file folder dividers and then giving it to kids when they are all grown up...Christmas and Santa pictures would be great to put in the box!
