When Maddy senses that I have eaten a treat without sharing it with her she puts both hands on my face and says, "Let me smell your breaf (breath)." Then, if she smells a little chocolate or something like that she says, "What's in your mouf?" Totally busted.

She does the same exact thing to me... She's on to us. We need to be extra careful or she's going to find out that after she goes to sleep, all we do is stay up and have candy and chocolate and party until we go to bed! That would be awful!
She is one smart girl. That story is hilarious!
That is soooo funny! It reminds me of times during Lent when I would "sacrifice"...give up chocolate and sweets. Did you know Lent falls right when Girl Scout Cookie orders are delivered????????? Anyway, I used to make Chad eat a Thin Mint and then ask him to breathe on me so I could smell the cookies and enjoy him eating them because I couldn't.
It sounds kind of weird now that I just typed that up...but it's true!
It's funny how when you have a kid you realize all your bad habits that you catch yourself doing around them.
