My baby is sick. It's so sad. She has strep throat and is running a fever and is feeling quite yucky. Marc and Maddy are cuddling in bed right now watching Mary Poppins while I'm sitting on the floor by the power plug blogging. She should feel much better tomorrow, but for now, it's yuck. She has thrown up twice, once in the doctor's office (which I tried to catch, silly me, just step aside) and once at home.
We will be able to get out and about again once she has been fever free for 24 hours. I'm expecting she will be fever free tomorrow morning. If not, she probably has another bug, but the doctor isn't thinking it's H1N1.
It is hard to be a parent when you have a sick kid, it's constant worry. Sigh. I am grateful that the rest of the time she is a healthy kid, even when she is on the run at the mall. I'll take it.
Now, would anyone care to place a bet how long it ill take for met to get it, too?

Bummer! I could not sleep the last two nights from sneezing. It felt like I was up all night and didn't get a good nights sleep. I think it's just a simple cold, but even a simple cold is not fun. :( Hope she feels better! I will send Jell-O thoughts her way!
