Sometimes I Am A Nincompoop
Maddy is invited to a birthday party next week for a boy in her class. I thought I would make him a "Superhero Starter Kit" with a cape, an ABC book of superheroes, a mask and cool wrist guards to ward off attacking villains. I cut out the cape and the lightning bold and letter J very carefully and then used the mirror to find the right placement and spacing on the cape.
Do you see what I did wrong?

Bummer about the backwards J, but what a clever, creative idea!!!
I make mistakes like that all the time when I try to sew. I can't seem to wrap my brain around the topology of sewing.
