Chuck-E-Cheese is like the mother ship, calling all children home. I think Chuck-E-Cheese is the trifecta of children's eating places- just like a McDonald's with a playland. It has 1) kid-friendly food, 2) things to play on and 3) toys. What more could a kid want??We had a fabulously great time tonight at C-E-C with our friends Chad, Jen and Jordan along with Rob, Silvia and Alex. Everyone ate a bunch of garbage, played until exhaustion, and left with some sort of little prize. In Maddy's case it was a chocolate tootsie pop and plastic butterfly ring. I don't think she could have been ANY happier. At bedtime tonight during hugs and kisses she was still talking about how much fun she had.
As for me, I'm still trying to forget the way I had to drag her out from under the table at least 20 times during art class at Gymboree today. I was NOT a happy camper. Life is funny, the way it can whiplash you around between gloom and joy. I was pretty much a crabby-crabberton all afternoon, but after C-E-C and watching Maddy have so much fun, plus spending time with friends, I think I'll sleep ok tonight and let the bad stuff go for now. Tomorrow is another day.

Sometimes I wish we had a Chuck-E-Cheese around here. But then other times I'm so glad we don't. I'm sure you know what I mean. :)
Very fun pictures! I can only handle Chuck E. Cheese every once in a while. I really think it is just too much stimulation for a kid. I'm ready to go back to the mall where it's more relaxed, believe it or not!
