New Year's Resolutions

I don't know why I bother, but I do TRY to make and keep a few resolutions.
Here is my list:

1. Make a will.
I started the form last year, but I goofed it up and it sits in a drawer with my goofs waiting for attention. This is very important. I really, really need to do this.
2. Lose 10 pounds.
I know everyone wants to lose weight, but it has never been on my resolution list until I had Maddy. It's all her fault. It couldn't possibly be related to pizza, or Big Macs, or any of that junk.
3. Cut back on Coke.
I do this all the time. I notice I am drinking more than one or two a day and then I cut back. It creeps up on me. My teeth will thank me later. Have you ever noticed that buying a bottle of water is the same price as buying a coke? Why would I get plain old water when I can get sweet bubbly goodness for the same price? How is it some guy is picking cocoa beans in a warm tropical country with a dictator leader to sell to one of our biggest capitalist conglomerates who add sugar (also from a tropical guy) and other junk and THAT is the same price as a fancy bottle of WATER? Something is seriously wrong with that.
4. Tackle the photos. Again.
I have been working on this a little bit at a time all year. I have BOXES of family photos that I am going through and sorting. I want to scan a lot of them and then share them with my brother and sister. My dad was a photographer and my mom loved photography, and I like to take pictures, so I have a LOT of pictures. I have to work in spurts of inspired crazy energy, or it just doesn't happen. I actually made good progress this summer. Time to go to it again.
5. Keep up the walking/running.
I mentioned this when I started my blog back in October, and I actually have done a pretty good job. I slipped just a little during the holidays because we were having so much fun together, but I need to stay on top of it. It really helps.

Ok, 5 things, all doable. I have others, but I want to commit seriously to these 5 for now. I'll review them next December to see how I did.

Looks good! I like the idea of do-able resolutions. Me, personally, I'm done with the losing weight thing...I've been trying to be healthy and trying to workout or walk or run and it's important to me but I'm going to not try and stress over it. I think my main resolution is going to be spending more time with my family and trying to be more generous. After my mom and Jordan being in this hospital in one month, I really feel like the more time I can spend with my family the better. I think the sewing will be fun with my mom especially. And the generosity thing, I feel like there are tons of times when I think that someone will like something and then I just don't do it or I don't get them what I found and I want to do that more. Hopefully it will be appreciated. :) ...Maybe I'll go post these on my blog!

Nice resolutions! I don't know what my deal is but I have no desire to make any resolutions this year. No unlike me. After reading yours though I was slightly more inspired to think about making resolutions.

PS I sent you a Christmas card but I just got it back in the mail today! If you get a minute email me your address.
