Don't Smile!!

The trick to getting Maddy to smile at the camera is to tell her to not smile. Instant smile!
Today we went to LegoLand. All I can say is, if you have kids, wait until they are old enough to go alone, or have a good drink first (you, not the kids). Crazy, crazy, crazy, and it wasn't even that busy when we were there. I guess the thousands who were there before us wore out the staff, the bathrooms, the food and just about everything else. We did have some fun, but we were happy we had a coupon for $5 each and didn't pay full price.

I think we have a coupon, too. We have wanted to go but saw that it was really expensive. I know Rob and Silvia took Alex. I think I would be willing to go in the summer when we're off and we could go during the day maybe. I'm actually looking forward to going to museums this summer...maybe Legoland can wait. We would like to take Jordan on the train, we have never done that. I really think this summer will be fun! Ah!!!! I can't wait for summer! Winter break is just a tease!

I read this post when it was more current but didn't really look at the photo. It's a lego Christmas Tree!! How fantastic would that be to have in your home? We love legos. Our 3 children were quite spread out age wise and so not a lot of activities they enjoyed together. But legos was the one thing they all loved and shared. They would have competitions to see who could build the best boat or the tallest tower or a submarine that really worked. Patrick, even though he was 10 years younger than his older brother, Kirstopher, won the submarine contest.
