Last night we went over to my school for a Pirate Reading Night! My wonderful friend and ultimate party planner (and leave replacement) Linda hosted a swashbuckling evening of fun. Maddy had a terrific time, 
dressing up as a pirate, helping Linda by taping signs all over the school, using the kindergarten potty, drinking chocolate milk from a carton with a straw, creating a very treasured treasure box and listening to some pirate stories.I noticed she was beginning to fade during the second story, so after the craft I shooed her out the door and she was sound asleep within 15 minutes of getting home.
