Idol Finale

I totally blew it the last 4 weeks. I was in 3rd place not long ago, tonight I finished 15th out of 20. Last year I was the opposite, I was at the bottom almost the entire time and climbed to the finish in 6th place.

We had a good time tonight, a small, but very fun crowd. The kids are old enough to play together downstairs without constant adult supervision. They also came up and entertained us with some wild costumes and dancing. I'll try to post video later, it was too cute.

By the way, how totally geeky is it for me to do this AND take a picture AND post in on my blog? Let me just tell you, it's VERY geeky, and I'm ok with that.

I must say, I love plastic epoxy, but I think I lost a few brain cells while making it. If I don't remember your name, you will know why. Yes, that's an Avatar toy holding the banner.

Oh, Idol, it was not your best year, it was a little sleepy, a little pitchy, next year I am expecting you to really give it your all.
