Ok, I did it!
I started my blog. There, are you happy now? My crazy, rambling thoughts are now out there for anybody, somebody, nobody (?) to read. Go for it. I have lots of questions about life, so I am going along with a theme of why. Feel free to leave an answer, or just ponder for yourself quietly. I am always up for new questions, I am a very curious person. So, I pose this question to you, dear reader: why do we blog? Do we blog for reinforcement? Security? Insecurity? Do we do it so we are not alone in the universe? To connect with just one other person out there who has the same crazy thoughts we do? Tell me, why do you blog?

Hi Kathy! Laura told me you started a blog! Fun!!! I have had so much fun with my blog. One day, Chad had an idea for a craft project he wanted me to do. He wanted a cloth "curtain" to cover a shelving unit we have in our kitchen. I did a search on the internet and came up with a lady on the east coast who did a similar kind of curtain in her laundry room and had blogged about it! It was so fun to see her laundry room and then to see her other projects. It was so cool to be able to see all these aspects of her life from so far away. I was hooked...and then Laura asked me if I blogged and I said I had just figured out what blogging even was. She told me about blogger and that it was free...that convinced me right there! I just thought it would be a neat way to talk about things going on in my life, kind of like a diary, but on the internet.
Besides being a great way to catalog all our memories, I can easily share them with my family and friends. Sometimes it's really sad when nobody comments and I feel like no one is reading it, but there are people who read my blog and don't really comment. It's a neat way to keep in touch. I'm also using it to keep track of the books I read. If I ever need to remember a book I read, I just have to go back in the blog and see what I wrote about it. Love it!!

Yay Kathy! Now I will have to be next to start a blog. I think I have lots of reasons to start thinking seriously about it :) Glad I can keep up with you guys now!
