It's just the best when your two year old daughter wants you to waltz with her during Sleeping Beauty while she sings, "I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream..."
Maddy is feeling sick, she has an ear and sinus infection and had a 101.5 fever yesterday. We knew something was wrong when she ASKED to go for her nap at 12:30. What two year old asks for a nap? We have been watching Sleeping Beauty on the couch, if she asked me right now for a car for her 16th birthday I would have to say yes. Who can resist a sick kid who wants to waltz and sing with you?

I have a nephew who will ask to go to bed at night when he gets tired. It makes your jaw drop to the floor and then when you compose yourself, it's adorable.
I love to snuggle with Jordan when he's sick. He's the kind of kid who barely sits still and is always on the go, so I cherish the time I get to sit and snuggle with him. I have no problem giving in if he's sick or not feeling well.
Speaking of dancing with kids, I was at a wedding a little over a year ago and was out in the foyer rocking Jordan to sleep in his stroller when he was about three months old. The ring bearer was there with his mom and they were dancing together. I overheard him say, "I want to marry you, mommy." His mom tried to explain that she was already married to daddy...but how sweet is that? It made me want to cry then with my three-month-old munchkin in his stroller sleeping so sweetly and it still makes me want to cry now.
