The Olympics Start Tomorrow!

Whoohoo!

One day, when I was 7 years old, I picked up a booklet about the Olympics while my mom was in line at the bank. The booklet outlined all the US Olympians and the events and had a place to write in the medal winners. A cute young girl with a great wedge haircut took the gold in women's figure skating (remember when they actually had to skate figures?) I was hooked on the Olympics from that moment on. I soon had my own wedge haircut and my own Dorothy Hamill shampoo. I can't wait to watch the skating this year, and luge, and downhill, and curling, and speedskating- I love it all!

Share with me one of your favorite Olympic memories!

Note: I met Dorothy Hamill and shook her hand when I saw her in Las Vegas in the 90's. She was delightful.  :-)

Now I am going to try find the school picture of me with my DH wedge.

I found it!

That picture is fantastic!

I can't wait for the Olympics to start. I love them! I think my favorite event is speed skating, but there are so many other good ones. Can't wait!
