Maddy was walking through the family room and I couldn't help but notice how grown-up she is looking. I said to her, "Maddy, promise me you won't grow up."
She walked over to me and climbed up on my lap and said, "Mama, I can't promise that, but I will always snuggle in your arms."
Sniff.
Ok, one more:
This is what she learned from Dinosaur Train:
Me: hands Maddy a plate of chicken nuggets for lunch.
Maddy: "Mmmm, carrion."

Oh, that is so sweet. How can kids be so profound!!!!!! That is so sweet. I love being a mom...even though it can be scary and frustrating at time...just holding them in your arms or feeling them hug you is just worth more than anything.
How about this one. Jordan was getting ready to take a bath tonight and he said, "Daddy, you have a weenie like me." Then Chad said, "That's right, what does Mommy have?" And Jordan excitedly responded, "A giant!"
I'm so glad you wrote that Maddy-ism down. That is one to remember. Must be the pregnancy because that brought a little tear to my eye as well. So sweet.
Ok Jen's second comment. HILARIOUS.
