Bed Bath and Beyond

I was just reading one of my previous posts where I mention that I got Maddy to Bath, Bed, and then "The End". I could have taken advantage of that moment to say I got Maddy to Bath, Bed, and Beyond, referring to both the "beyond" of dreams, and the "Beyond" of the retail store...

But then I remembered that their name is "Bed, Bath, and Beyond", which is out of order don't you think? I mean, who goes to bed, and then a bath? No no, it's to bath, and then to bed. Their store could be less literal in title and be "Bath, Bed, and Beyond" referring to dreams and also referring to the stuff they have that's more than just for bedrooms and baths... that could have been poetic!

Not to mention, Bath comes alphabetically before Bed!! I hope Bath's agent was fired when that title billing went to Bed!

So interesting. I've never thought about the order of the words but really bath, bed and beyond does make more sense AND it you're right it looks better being alphabetical too. Where were you when they were trying to decide on that name? You could have helped them out big time.
