Superhero Starter Kit

First of all, I have to give credit to Jen for the cape idea. She made one for a party she went to and gave the book Skippyjon Jones with the cape. I can't forget to leave out Jen's coolness and creativeness.

So, here is the whole gift:

First, I decorated a Macy's gift box.

Then I added a Superhero ABC book. I planned a whole reading night at school around this book a few years ago. It was a lot of fun, the kids love this book. I was Goo Girl (it's from the book).

I made a little tag to announce the book as a superhero guidebook.

Next came the wrist cuffs. They turned out a wee bit Wonder Woman, but the kid is 4, he doesn't know this.

The tag for the cuffs. I had trouble not using the words "evil villains", or "fight off danger", I didn't want the gift to be an excuse to get crazy. I think I would leave out the word help. Oh well.

And the cape!
