Since we have been on a little candy binge since Halloween, I was a bit worried about Maddy's dental check up yesterday, but she did very well and didn't have a single cavity. It was interesting to note that the hygienist could tell she had been on an antibiotic because it causes brownish gunk around the bottom of her teeth. It's either too much apple juice or antibiotic, and since she doesn't drink apple juice very often, or at all, I knew immediately the culprit was the recent round of antibiotics. Good to know. I learned something new. We sometimes gave Maddy her dose of pink goo after she brushed her teeth, because that's when we remembered it. Note to self- brush
after meds.
She is such a trooper when she's there, and this office specializes in pediatric dentistry, so they have all the right gimmicks to keep the kids happy.

Yes, I am now officially one of those weird moms who take pictures of their kids in the dentist chair, but she's so cute! And she's wearing a little Santa jumper I made for her. It was easy-peasy, a slip-over-the-head without buttons or zippers type pattern. I'm starting to get the hang of this sewing stuff.
PS- Yes, the hottie dentist was there, just in case you were wondering, and no, I didn't take his picture.

I love that last picture where she's just hanging out in the chair doing something. The other two creep me out because I hate being where she is (although, she makes it look good with those awesome shades).
Woo hoo!!!!! That is great! I've gotta make an appointment with Jordan...can't forget that!
