Maddy is signed up for the summer library club. She has to discuss the book with a librarian and then she gets a stamp on her sheet and a prize from the treasure chest. She loves it! We had a nice stack of books and she chose Mouse Shapes as her discussion book. Can you tell how serious she is about her job here? And that hair! She is finally letting me play with her hair, but she pulled them out while I was checking out books. The stinker.

I love the library summer reading program. My girls have been getting cool prizes of free coupons to various restaurants and businesses around town. They're so excited about it.
Fun! We are doing the summer reading program at our library (of course!). They have two things going on actually...one you have to go in every week and put a sticker on their window and you get prizes, and the other you have to read a book and tell the librarian about it and they give you a bead that you put in their jar and a piece of candy. Jordan was kind of shy when we went to tell the librarian about the book today so I basically had to tell her all about it...I don't know if she thought he was too young out what, but we did get our candy! :)
Do they do adult reading progams??? They do it in the winter and in the summer at our library. I have one prizes twice! Once, I got a $25 B&N card and then I got a insanely huge cook book.
